One of the questions are asked by customers who develop social media strategy, I shall post my Facebook post Twitter and back, or does everything must be unique?
IMHO need to look at social media as Moneyball and you should see your actions in respect of you. Do not believe all social media guru, riding the unicorns, preaching that social media is calling man (most says in the Chicano vote for dramatic effect). Social media is provide you with an alternative channel to connect with new or existing customers, demonstrate their expertise, problem solving or the promotion of products in order to provide the service of customers, build loyalty, and sales. At the end of the day nothing happens until someone sells something.
IMHO need to look at social media as Moneyball and you should see your actions in terms of ROI ... For most clients I recommend, as a blog. This is an easy way to add new content, demonstrate your expertise and build links. While RSS reading is a big fat lies, the fact is that RSS as an instrument that works. There are all sorts of Add-ons that you automatically publish your feeds on twitter or Facebook. Before you can do this, however, need to find out where you are and where you want to be.If you have a personal Twitter account and personal Facebook page, it doesn't matter which way you choose. However, if you have one or more professional Twitter accounts and one or more pages, Facebook brand, are limited in how you link them. Personal Twitter account, you can connect and automatically publish personal Facebook page and vice versa. Cannot connect account on Twitter to Facebook brand page, but you can connect Facebook brand page to each account, Twitter.

Once you know which situation, to be entered in the set up of automatic publication of the other, and then locate the add-in to publish your new messages on Facebook or Twitter. Will be! You're ready with the first step.
Nobody wants to follow or to engage with someone who speaks only for their own things. Must demonstrate experience, title industry related news and information, or principal curate channel, so it is interesting and has value to the other. My favorite tools to do this are Hootsuite and Bufferapp (see how to automate Twitter feed with Hootsuite and Bufferapp). Can I use read newsgroups by Zite and Flipboard, to find stories on certain topics for my accounts. Then I use Twitter lists and Facebook friend lists to search for linked accounts like, share and retweet from (see how to create a local account on Twitter).
One downside of this approach is that Twitter and Facebook have become identical. If you want to post to only one account must log on and to do so in this account. This is a minor annoyance, but with time, you save the long, should still get more return from work.
So what are the takeaways from this post:
Assess your current situation with personal/brand pages to find out which account must be in the master account that to other accountConfigure will publish your blog to publish in the main accountCurate feed, make it more interesting and demonstrate their expertise with topic discussions, ideas and links from other sources related to the industry with smart news readersUse tools for automation, and spread your publications, which allows you to work in a folder, while to be active in social media all dayPhoto credit: Shutterstock/Nerjon photo
