I recently wrote a history how bricks and mortar stores may use electronic, marketing to drive sales for tips that stores electronic commerce may use for traffic on the device to their brick and mortar locations. They must abandon their old mentality which moved my cheese. It is a fact that consumer preferences for retail e-commerce will continue to grow, the Smartphone and Tablet shopping will continue to grow, and traders who do not recognize this trend will fail. The first will be small local shops, followed by a strip mall tenants, but, at the end of the day, nobody including large box retailers such as best buy is not immune. Nobody is too big to fail.

So what small local businesses, will do to compete:

In fact if you don't have a mobile website, IMHO you must do with the mobile site your number 1 priority. This must be done correctly with a strategy for implementing the URL.
