Rolls-Royce cars have a reputation for producing vehicles of very high qulaity and prestige and have been manufactured since 1903. In recent years the brand has been under the control of Volkswagen and more recently BMW.
FAB1, the pink car driven around by Parker in the 1960's series of Thunderbirds was based on a Rolls-Royce. Modified by Brains, the car featured several additions, including a smokescreen and extendable tyre-studs. Rolls-Royce actually supplied a real radiator grille for close-ups of the car during filming of the series.
Cars produced whilst BMW have been in control include the Phantom (launched in 2003), and the Ghost (2010).
